Plan for and protect your loved ones and your assets. Our attorneys guide clients through the array of substantial personal and family issues involved in estate planning and administration.
Minimize unnecessary court delay and expenses after your death. Generally, without planning in place, your assets will be subject to probate court proceedings. On average, the probate process takes nine to twelve months and is required before your beneficiaries receive your assets. The probate process is expensive and time-intensive. We assist clients in structuring estate planning in order to avoid it. If a family member has passed and requires probate proceedings, we work to ensure that the process is as efficient and cost-effective as possible.
Sophisticated techniques and strategies. Our attorneys have considerable experience implementing advanced planning strategies to reduce taxation of estates and ensure client goals are met, including intentionally-defective irrevocable trusts; grantor retained annuity trusts; and charitable remainder trusts.
